A sweet and nutty bread made with apples and praline topping.

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups peeled and chopped apples
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Fold in apples and pecans.
- Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.
- In a small saucepan, combine brown sugar and cream over medium heat to make praline topping.
- Pour the praline mixture over the batter.
- Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.

- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
