Zutaten
Skala
- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1 lb chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Anweisungen
- Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
- In a pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add chicken pieces, cook until browned.
- Stir in cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.
- Add water and bring to a boil.
- Add rice, reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Fluff rice with a fork and garnish with parsley.
