- 4 cups water
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeño, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 bottle (12 oz) beer
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Anweisungen
- Rinse and soak the pinto beans overnight.
- Drain and place beans in a pot with water, onion, garlic, and jalapeño.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
- Add cumin, chili powder, beer, and salt.
- Cook for another 30 minutes until beans are tender.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
