Zutaten

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
  7. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  8. Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Drizzle half of the caramel sauce over the batter.
  10. Pour the remaining batter on top and drizzle with the remaining caramel sauce.
  11. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  12. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
