A delicious buffalo chicken calzone filled with spicy chicken and cheese.

- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix the shredded chicken and buffalo sauce.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
- Cut the dough into circles, about 6 inches in diameter.
- Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture on one half of each circle.
- Add mozzarella and ricotta cheese on top of the chicken.
- Fold the dough over to cover the filling and press the edges to seal.
- Place the calzones on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and egg wash.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Adjust the amount of buffalo sauce to your spice preference.
- Serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing.
