  • 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter with rosemary, thyme, sage, garlic, salt, pepper, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
  3. Pat the turkey dry with paper towels.
  4. Gently lift the skin of the turkey and spread half of the butter mixture underneath.
  5. Rub the remaining butter all over the turkey skin.
  6. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and roast according to weight, about 13 minutes per pound.
  7. Baste the turkey every 30 minutes with the pan juices.
  8. Once cooked, let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
