  • 1/4 cup Cajun seasoning
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups chopped onions
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 loaf of stale bread, cubed
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon thyme
  • 1 tablespoon sage
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Rub the turkey with melted butter and Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large pan, sauté onions, celery, bell peppers, and garlic until soft.
  4. Add the cubed bread, parsley, thyme, and sage to the pan.
  5. Pour in chicken broth and mix until combined.
  6. Stuff the turkey with the bread mixture.
  7. Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
  8. Roast for 2.5 to 3 hours, removing foil for the last 30 minutes.
  9. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (75°C).
  10. Let the turkey rest for 20-30 minutes before carving.
