Cheesy scalloped potatoes are a creamy, cheesy side dish perfect for any meal.

- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- In a bowl, mix heavy cream, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Layer half of the potatoes in a baking dish. Pour half of the cream mixture over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the cream.
- Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, cream, and cheese.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
