- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cherries, pitted and chopped
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix the flours, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and poppy seeds.
- In another bowl, combine the milk, oil, and almond extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped cherries.
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool before slicing.
