A sweet pastry with almond flavor and cherry filling.

- 200g shortcrust pastry
- 100g ground almonds
- 100g unsalted butter
- 100g caster sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp almond extract
- 100g cherry jam
- 50g flaked almonds
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line a tartlet tin.
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the ground almonds, eggs, and almond extract. Mix well.
- Spread cherry jam into each pastry case.
- Pour the almond mixture on top of the jam.
- Sprinkle flaked almonds on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Serve with whipped cream for added flavor.
- Use fresh cherries for a different twist.
