- 2 cups fresh cherries
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 pie crust
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and pit the cherries.
- In a bowl, mix cherries, sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, and salt.
- Place the pie crust in a pie pan.
- Fill the crust with the cherry mixture.
- Add small pieces of butter on top.
- Cover with another pie crust or create a lattice.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until crust is golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.

- Use fresh or frozen cherries.
- Adjust sugar based on cherry sweetness.
- Let pie set for a better slice.
