A simple and flavorful chicken and rice dish made in a crockpot.
Zutaten

- 4 chicken breasts
- 2 cups of rice
- 4 cups of chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
Anweisungen
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic on top.
- Pour in the chicken broth.
- Add rice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in frozen peas.
- Once cooked, shred chicken with two forks and mix well.
Notes
- This dish can be made with brown rice, but cooking time may vary.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
