Chicken chow mein with a flavorful chow mein sauce.
Zutaten
Skala
- 2 cups cooked chow mein noodles
- 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
- 1 cup bell peppers, sliced
- 1 cup carrots, julienned
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 3 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken and cook until browned.
- Add bell peppers and carrots, stir-fry for 3-4 minutes.
- Add bean sprouts and green onions, cook for another 2 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and chicken broth.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables.
- Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Toss in the cooked chow mein noodles and mix thoroughly.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- Adjust the sauce thickness by adding more or less cornstarch.
- For a vegetarian version, substitute chicken with tofu.
- Customize vegetables based on preference.
