Delicious chicken parmesan sandwiches made with crispy chicken, marinara sauce, and melted cheese.

- 2 boneless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 4 sandwich rolls
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for frying
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Flatten the chicken breasts with a meat mallet.
- Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Coat each chicken breast with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the fried chicken on a baking sheet.
- Top each piece with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Serve on sandwich rolls.
Notes
- Use fresh bread for the rolls.
- For extra flavor, add fresh basil on top of the chicken.
