Delicious and traditional Chinese New Year cake ideas.
Zutaten
- Glutinous rice flour – 2 cups
- Water – 1 cup
- Sugar – 1 cup
- Red bean paste – 1 cup
- Coconut milk – 1 cup
- Sesame seeds – 1/4 cup
- Fruit (like mango or banana) – 1 cup, diced
Anweisungen
- In a bowl, mix glutinous rice flour, water, and sugar until smooth.
- Divide the mixture into two bowls. Add red bean paste to one and coconut milk to the other.
- Grease a steaming tray and pour the red bean mixture into it.
- Steam for 20 minutes.
- Pour the coconut milk mixture on top and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Steam for another 20 minutes.
- Let it cool, then cut into pieces.
- Serve with diced fruit on the side.
