Traditional Chinese New Year cookies for photography.
Zutaten

- 200g all-purpose flour
- 100g sugar
- 100g unsalted butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Sesame seeds for topping
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Shape the dough into small balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Press down slightly and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool before serving or photographing.
