Zutaten

- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Anweisungen
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, eggs, and salt. Mix well.
- Gradually add flour and cinnamon. Stir until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes.
- Place dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Punch down the dough and fold in raisins and nuts.
- Divide dough into two loaves and place in greased pans.
- Let it rise again for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30-35 minutes.
- Cool before wrapping for gifts.
