Zutaten

  • 6 cups of cubed bread
  • 1 pound of cooked sausage
  • 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 large eggs
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon of mustard
  • 1/2 cup of diced bell peppers

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the cubed bread in the dish.
  4. Spread the cooked sausage over the bread.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese and bell peppers on top.
  6. In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, and mustard.
  7. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and sausage.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
  9. Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes until set and golden.
