- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons meringue powder
- 6 tablespoons water
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract.
- Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and cut into shapes.
- Place cookies on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, cool on wire racks.
- In a bowl, combine powdered sugar, meringue powder, and water to make royal icing.
- Decorate cooled cookies with royal icing as desired.

- You can add food coloring to the royal icing.
- For best results, let the icing dry completely before stacking cookies.
