  • 2 oranges, quartered
  • 4 cloves of garlic, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon thyme

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the duck and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Season the duck inside and out with salt and pepper.
  4. Stuff the duck with quartered oranges and garlic.
  5. Mix honey, soy sauce, and thyme; brush this mixture over the duck.
  6. Place the duck on a roasting rack in a roasting pan.
  7. Roast for about 1.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  8. Check internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  9. Let it rest for 15 minutes before carving.
