- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Anweisungen
- In a saucepan, combine sugar, heavy cream, cocoa powder, and butter.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Continue to boil for 5 minutes without stirring.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and chocolate chips until smooth.
- Add nuts if desired, and mix well.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×9 inch pan.
- Let it cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
- Store fudge in an airtight container.
- Fudge can be frozen for up to 3 months.
