A festive lasagna perfect for Christmas gatherings.

- 12 lasagna noodles
- 2 cups ricotta cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
- Layer 4 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, a layer of mozzarella, and more sauce.
- Repeat the layers ending with noodles, sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan on top.
- Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Use fresh herbs for added flavor.
- Let lasagna sit to firm up for easier slicing.
- Can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge.
