Zutaten

  • 12 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions and drain.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread a layer of marinara sauce in a baking dish.
  5. Layer 4 noodles over the sauce, followed by half of the ricotta mixture, a layer of mozzarella, and more sauce.
  6. Repeat the layers ending with noodles, sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan on top.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  9. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • Use fresh herbs for added flavor.
  • Let lasagna sit to firm up for easier slicing.
