- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsalted butter, chilled and diced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup ice water
- 2 cups mixed dried fruits
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add butter and blend until crumbly.
- Stir in ice water until dough forms.
- Roll out dough and place in pie dish.
- Combine dried fruits, cinnamon, nutmeg, honey, and lemon juice in a bowl.
- Pour filling into the crust.
- Cover with another rolled-out dough and seal edges.
- Brush top with beaten egg.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- Let the pie cool before serving.
- Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
