A traditional dessert for the Christmas season.
Zutaten
Skala
- 1 cup of mixed dried fruits
- 1/2 cup of raisins
- 1/2 cup of currants
- 1/4 cup of chopped nuts
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of milk
- 1 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup of flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1/4 cup of brandy
- 2 eggs
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the milk and eggs to the mixture.
- Stir in the brandy.
- Pour the mixture into a greased pudding mold.
- Cover the mold with a cloth and secure it tightly.
- Steam the pudding for about 2 hours.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Serve with custard or cream.

- Make ahead and store for better flavor.
- Can be reheated before serving.
