Zutaten
- Turkey – 1 (12-14 lbs)
- Butter – 1 cup
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 teaspoon
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Onion – 1 large
- Celery – 2 stalks
- Carrots – 2 medium
- Stuffing mix – 1 package
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Pumpkin pie – 1 (store-bought or homemade)
- Whipped cream – for serving
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by rubbing it with butter, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff the turkey with the stuffing mix.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Meanwhile, prepare the green beans by tossing them with olive oil, salt, and pepper, then roast them in the oven for 20 minutes.
- Once the turkey is done, let it rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Serve with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie topped with whipped cream.
