- 2 sheets of puff pastry
- 4 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 4 egg yolks
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry and line a baking tray.
- Bake the pastry sheets until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar until dissolved.
- In a bowl, mix cornstarch with a little milk and add to the saucepan.
- Whisk in egg yolks and vanilla extract, cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat and let cool.
- Layer the cooled custard between the baked pastry sheets.
- Top with whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar.
- Chill in the fridge before serving.
