A copycat recipe for Longhorn’s parmesan crusted chicken, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Flatten the chicken breasts with a meat mallet.
- Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each chicken breast in flour, then dip in eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
- Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
- Serve with a side of marinara sauce.
- You can add herbs to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor.
- Ensure chicken is fully cooked before serving.
