A homemade version of Taco Bell’s famous nacho fries.
Zutaten

- 2 large russet potatoes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup nacho cheese sauce
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and cut the potatoes into fries.
- Soak the fries in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Drain and pat the fries dry.
- Mix oil, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt in a bowl.
- Toss the fries in the oil mixture until evenly coated.
- Spread the fries on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through.
- Once crispy, remove from the oven and sprinkle cheese on top.
- Drizzle nacho cheese sauce over the fries.
- Garnish with chopped green onions.

- Serve immediately for the best texture.
- Adjust spice levels to your preference.
- Can use other types of cheese if desired.
