Zutaten

- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 4 cups beef broth
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon rosemary
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Anweisungen
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the beef pieces, then transfer to the crockpot.
- Add carrots, potatoes, onion, and garlic to the crockpot.
- Pour in the beef broth and add thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Stir to combine all ingredients.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like peas or green beans.
- For thicker stew, mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with cold water and stir in 30 minutes before serving.
