A comforting dish of chicken and dumplings cooked in a crockpot.
Zutaten
Skala
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can of cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup of chicken broth
- 1 cup of frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of onion powder
- 1 package of refrigerated biscuit dough
- Salt and pepper to taste
Anweisungen
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Add the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth.
- Stir in the frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, cut the biscuit dough into quarters and add to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook until the dumplings are fluffy and cooked through.
- Shred the chicken before serving and stir everything together.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning as needed.
- For a thicker broth, add a slurry of cornstarch and water.
- You can use any frozen vegetables you prefer.
