Zutaten

  • 4 cups of chicken broth
  • 1 pound of boneless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup of carrots, sliced
  • 1 cup of celery, chopped
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 can of biscuit dough
  • 2 tablespoons of cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons of water

Anweisungen

  1. Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Add chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic powder, thyme, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Shred the chicken and return it to the crockpot.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water and add to the crockpot to thicken the broth.
  6. Cut biscuit dough into quarters and add to the crockpot.
  7. Cook for an additional 30 minutes on high until dumplings are cooked through.
