A comforting chicken pot pie made easily in a crockpot.
Zutaten

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup carrots, diced
- 1 cup potatoes, diced
- 1 cup peas
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
Anweisungen
- Place chicken, carrots, potatoes, peas, and onion in the crockpot.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream.
- Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- 20 minutes before serving, roll out the pie crust over the mixture.
- Cover and let the crust bake in the crockpot for the remaining time.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- You can use frozen vegetables for convenience.
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- For a thicker filling, add a cornstarch slurry before adding the pie crust.
