Zutaten
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Olive oil – 1/4 cup
- Salt – 2 tablespoons
- Pepper – 1 tablespoon
- Garlic powder – 1 tablespoon
- Onion powder – 1 tablespoon
- Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage) – 1/4 cup
- Vegetable broth – 2 cups
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Almond milk – 1 cup
- Sweet potatoes – 4 large
- Cinnamon – 1 teaspoon
- Maple syrup – 1/4 cup
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and fresh herbs.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and pour vegetable broth around it.
- Roast the turkey for about 3 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- While the turkey cooks, steam the green beans until tender.
- Peel and chop sweet potatoes, then boil until soft.
- Drain sweet potatoes and mash them with almond milk, cinnamon, and maple syrup.
- Serve the turkey with green beans and sweet potato mash.
