Zutaten

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs

Anweisungen

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add sugar, melted butter, and eggs to the yeast mixture.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour and salt.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
  6. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  7. Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
  8. Shape each piece into a roll and place them in a greased baking dish.
  9. Cover and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes.
  11. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftover rolls in an airtight container.
  • Reheat in the oven for best results.
  • You can brush the tops with melted butter before baking.
