- 1 whole turkey (10–12 lbs)
- 1 cup olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups rice
- 1 can black beans
- 1 cup corn
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 cup plantains, sliced
- 1 cup tomato sauce
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rub the turkey with olive oil, garlic, thyme, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey in a roasting pan and cover with foil.
- Roast the turkey for 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Cook rice according to package instructions.
- Heat black beans, corn, and green beans in a saucepan with tomato sauce.
- Fry plantain slices in a skillet until golden brown.
- Serve the turkey with rice, beans, vegetables, and plantains.
