- 4 cups of cubed bread
- 2 cups of milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt.
- Add the cubed bread to the mixture and let it soak for 15 minutes.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden.
- While baking, prepare the vanilla sauce.
- Serve warm with vanilla sauce drizzled on top.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use brioche or challah bread.
- You can add raisins or nuts for extra texture.
