Easy gingerbread cookies recipe for the holidays.

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup molasses
Anweisungen
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and sugars until fluffy.
- Add egg and molasses; mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients; mix until combined.
- Roll dough into balls and place on baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on wire rack.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- You can decorate with icing if desired.
- Dough can be refrigerated for up to a week.
