  • Carrots – 2, chopped
  • Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
  • Chicken broth – 4 cups
  • Stuffing – 1 package (14 oz)
  • Green beans – 1 lb
  • Cranberry sauce – 1 can
  • Pumpkin pie – 1 pie

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey and pat it dry.
  3. Rub salt and pepper all over the turkey.
  4. Mix butter and garlic, then spread it under the skin of the turkey.
  5. Stuff the turkey with stuffing.
  6. Place turkey in a roasting pan and add onions, carrots, and celery around it.
  7. Pour chicken broth into the pan.
  8. Cover the pan with foil and roast for about 3 hours.
  9. Remove the foil and roast for another hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  10. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  11. Cook the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes.
  12. Serve with cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.
