- 4 medium red tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Anweisungen
- Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each tomato slice into buttermilk.
- Coat with the flour mixture.
- Dip again in buttermilk and then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the tomatoes until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels before serving.
