- 6 cups fresh peaches, sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine sliced peaches, sugar, cinnamon, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and milk.
- Pour melted butter into a baking dish.
- Pour the flour mixture over the butter. Do not stir.
- Pour the peach mixture over the flour mixture. Do not stir.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let it cool before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- Can substitute canned peaches if fresh are not available.
- Adjust sugar based on the sweetness of the peaches.
