A delicious German chocolate poke cake that is moist and rich, filled with chocolate flavor and topped with a coconut pecan frosting.


Zutaten

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup heavy cream

Anweisungen

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cake mix, water, oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Remove from oven and let it cool for 10 minutes.
  6. Poke holes in the cake with a fork.
  7. Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the cake, filling the holes.
  8. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  9. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  10. Spread the whipped cream over the cake.
  11. Top with shredded coconut and chopped pecans.
