- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Anweisungen
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add molasses, egg, and vanilla. Mix well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
- Chill dough for 1 hour.
- Roll out dough and cut into house shapes.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool.
- Assemble house with icing.

- Use royal icing for strong hold.
- Decorate with candies and sprinkles.
