A delicious green bean dish perfect for Thanksgiving.

- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
Anweisungen
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the green beans for 3 minutes.
- Drain and transfer the beans to an ice bath.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the green beans and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Add sliced almonds and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overcook the green beans.
- You can substitute almonds with walnuts.
- Add lemon juice for extra flavor.
