- 1 pound fresh green beans
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
Anweisungen
- Trim the ends of the green beans.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the green beans.
- Blanch the green beans for 3 minutes, then drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add the blanched green beans, salt, and pepper to the skillet.
- Sauté for 5 minutes until heated through.
- Add sliced almonds and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Serve warm.
