Zutaten
- Turkey – 1 whole (12-14 lbs)
- Salt – 2 tbsp
- Pepper – 1 tbsp
- Butter – 1 cup
- Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- Onion – 1 large, chopped
- Carrots – 2, chopped
- Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
- Chicken broth – 4 cups
- Stuffing mix – 1 box
- Cranberry sauce – 1 can
- Green beans – 1 lb
- Mashed potatoes – 5 lbs
- Pumpkin pie – 1
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Prepare the turkey by cleaning and seasoning it with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic, onion, carrots, and celery.
- Add chicken broth to the skillet and mix with stuffing mix.
- Stuff the turkey and place it in a roasting pan.
- Roast the turkey for about 3-4 hours, basting occasionally.
- Prepare the green beans by boiling them until tender.
- Cook mashed potatoes and serve with butter.
- Serve cranberry sauce on the side.
- Finish the meal with pumpkin pie for dessert.

- Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
- Use leftovers for sandwiches the next day.
