Soft and fluffy homemade Thanksgiving rolls.
Zutaten
Skala
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
Anweisungen
- In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
- Add sugar, melted butter, and eggs. Mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour and salt.
- Gradually add flour mixture to the wet ingredients. Mix to form a dough.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl. Cover and let it rise for 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Punch down the dough and divide it into 12 equal pieces.
- Shape each piece into a ball and place in a greased baking dish.
- Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter before serving.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- These rolls freeze well.
- For a sweeter roll, add more sugar.
