Homestyle meatloaf inspired by Cracker Barrel
Zutaten

- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, onion, eggs, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and thyme.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
- Spread additional ketchup on top of the meatloaf if desired.
- Bake for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Freezes well for up to 3 months.
