A delicious lemon cheesecake french toast casserole that combines the flavors of lemon and cheesecake in a comforting baked dish.

- 8 slices of bread, cubed
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup lemon curd
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Anweisungen
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread half of the bread cubes in the dish.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese and lemon curd until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the bread cubes.
- Add the remaining bread cubes on top.
- In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla, and lemon zest.
- Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour or overnight.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Use stale bread for better texture.
- Feel free to add blueberries or raspberries for extra flavor.
- Can be made a day in advance.
