A creamy and cheesy mac and cheese dish perfect for Thanksgiving.

- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Anweisungen
- Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Stir for 1 minute.
- Gradually whisk in the milk. Cook until thickened.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheeses until melted.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix well.
- Transfer to a baking dish and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake at 350°F for 25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Use different cheese for varied flavor.
- Top with additional breadcrumbs for crunch.
- Prepare in advance and bake before serving.
