Easy make-ahead Thanksgiving dishes to save you time.
Zutaten
Skala
- 2 cups of chopped vegetables (carrots, celery, onions)
- 1 cup of diced potatoes
- 1 pound of turkey or chicken
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon of dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon of rosemary
Anweisungen
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chopped vegetables and sauté until soft.
- Add diced potatoes and turkey/chicken to the pot.
- Pour in vegetable broth and season with salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Bring to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes.
- Transfer to a baking dish and cover with foil.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until the meat is cooked through.
- Let it cool, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
- Can be prepared up to two days in advance.
- Freezes well for up to three months.
- Reheat in the oven before serving.
